Sean Curtin serves as Director of Research, Assessment, and Evaluation for Riverside Unified School District, bringing nearly three decades of experience as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, director, and leadership coach. A graduate of CSU San Bernardino, he has dedicated his career to building equitable, high-performing learning environments grounded in data-driven decision-making. Sean has led districtwide curriculum and assessment systems, supported the development of new and aspiring administrators, and championed practices that elevate academic, social-emotional, and behavioral outcomes for all students. As a consultant, university instructor, and CalAPA assessor, he is passionate about developing educators and strengthening systems that support student success. His favorite strategy for change is empowering teams to use data with clarity and purpose, believing that when adults grow, students thrive.
