Peter Ondish, Ph.D. (“Dr. Pete”) is a computational social scientist with over 15 years of applied behavioral and data science experience. He is currently the co-founder and Chief Scientist at bluefoxlabs.ai, overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of Artificial Intelligence Initiatives. He is also a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he studies 1) digital tools to reduce misinformation (with the Misinformation Research Lab) and 2) how to build community-supported technology that prioritizes user ownership and data Sovereignty. He also currently serves as a fellow at the Prosocial Design Network, a collection of academics and professionals who research evidence-based solutions to promote human flourishing online. He has been an Associate at Creative Leadership Solutions since 2021.
