Pam Gildersleeve-Hernandez is an accomplished assistant superintendent with deep expertise in curriculum, instruction, and strategic planning. H,er leadership path includes serving as a Superintendent/Principal, where she supported rural schools and earned national recognition from the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Office of Technology for innovative practices. She has contributed her expertise to advisory groups for both the U.S. Secretary of Education and the California State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Pam’s work extends to influential publications, including the California Distance Learning Guide, Writing Standards-Based IEP Goals, the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence distance learning series, and the book Rethinking Rural: Reflections on Today, Insights for the Future. She has also written articles on parent engagement, professional learning, and the central role of relationships in driving meaningful change. Pam’s doctoral research examined transformational organizational change through adaptive leadership. She holds master’s degrees in educational leadership and curriculum and instruction with a focus on bilingual and multicultural special education.
