Majalise Tolan has been an energetic and proactive educator for over twenty years. She began her administrative career as a high school assistant principal and athletic director and has also served as an intermediate, middle, and high school principal. She was the Director of Secondary Teaching and Learning overseeing curriculum and instruction, athletics, career and technical education prior to becoming a superintendent. Through her time working as a consultant and coach, she has led multiple districts through standards, instruction, and feedback and assessment work. She co-authored She Leads: The Women’s Guide to a Career in Educational Leadership.
