“About” Patterns

We are a team of educators for educators. Our Associates have serviced or are currently serving a variety of senior leadership positions from principal through Superintendent. We have deep knowledge and practical experience in a variety of school and district settings.

We have worked with public, private, and charter schools in almost every state and in many countries. Our partners include large urban, small and medium sized rural districts, and schools with a range of demographics.

We help schools take several steps beyond traditional school improvement planning by helping leadership teams identify practices they can stop doing to make room for new or refined practices. We collaborate with leaders in synthesizing multiple action plans into a single, prioritized 100-day plan.

The process requires a minimum of two days. However, CLS works with the client to best determine a plan, whether it be on professional learning days, during the summer, or teacher team meetings. We want to minimize substitute coverage as we engage teachers in important and necessary work
