Pam Gildersleeve-Hernandez is an experienced assistant superintendent specializing in curriculum, instruction, and strategic planning. Her background includes serving as a Superintendent/Principal, where she gained expertise in serving rural schools and was recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Office of Technology for her innovative, forward-minded work. Pam has served as part of advisory groups to the U.S. Secretary of Education and the California State Superintendent of Public Instruction, in addition to contributing to works such as the California Distance Learning Guide, Writing Standards-Based IEP Goals, the California Collaborative for Excellent Education distance learning professional development series, and the book Rethinking Rural: Reflections on Today, Insights for the Future.

 Pam presents at the local, state, and national levels. She consults with school and district leaders on strategic planning, collaborative leadership, personalized leadership coaching, and social-emotional well-being. Her passion lies in empowering educational leaders, teachers, and classified staff through an assets-based approach focused on personalized professional development.

 Pam’s doctoral degree in transformational organizational leadership will be completed in Spring 2024.
