Krissy is an educator with more than 25 years of experience who has focused her career in a variety of areas including curriculum, best practices and assessments, systems building at both the building and district level and through supporting school and district leadership. She has served in a variety of roles in public education from elementary classroom teacher, literacy coach and both assistant and lead principal. As principal, her focus on building a positive school climate and culture was a priority for both students and staff and as a result, her building was awarded a Bronze Award in the area of PBIS from the Ohio Department of Education. 

In her most recent role prior to joining CLS as Director of one of Ohio’s 16 State Support Teams, she had the opportunity to provide tiered support to districts and schools in rural southeastern Ohio in their efforts in implementing school improvement systems especially in the areas of special education, multi-tiered systems of support, shared leadership teams, early childhood and literacy, universal design for learning, secondary transition and career technical education. 

Her passion is to be able to develop strong, trusting relationships with educators and gain the ability to work alongside them to support them in continuing to improve practice and focus on student success.
